Terms of service

These terms apply to Capybara Treasure Trails, its browser game, guides, and optional account service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. Privacy practices are described in the privacy policy.

Playing and accounts

The game is free to play as a guest. You are responsible for keeping your device, account password, and recovery code secure. Use an email address you control when creating an account. Do not impersonate another person, access someone else's account, or share another person's information. If you are not legally able to accept these terms yourself, involve a parent or guardian.

Acceptable use

Use the website for lawful personal enjoyment. Do not attack the service, interfere with other users, attempt unauthorized access, automate abusive account creation, or bypass security controls. Do not generate invalid advertisement impressions or clicks. Advertising is separate from gameplay and does not require your interaction to progress.

Game content

You may play the game and read the guides for personal use. Rights in website text, artwork, code, and other materials remain with their respective owners. Access to the website does not transfer ownership of those materials or grant permission to redistribute them where permission is required by law.

Progress and availability

Guest saves depend on browser storage. Clearing site data, changing devices, or private browsing can cause progress to be lost. Starting a new trail replaces your unfinished adventure. Optional account storage is experimental and may be erased by server resets or redeployments. Keep your recovery code secure; email recovery is not provided. We cannot promise uninterrupted availability or restoration of lost progress.

The game and guides are provided as available for entertainment. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that they will be error-free, available on every device, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not promise that optional online features will remain available indefinitely.
